Fuelling your workouts the right way

Eat a pre-workout meal

Pre-workout meals should consist mainly of complex carbohydrates and protein. To maximise your results, keep fat content low and choose slow-release carbs that will give you continuous energy.

Get enough protein

When you’re working out, you’re technically damaging muscle fibres. Although you need to do this in order to develop stronger and larger muscles, you also need to ensure your body has the right fuel to carry out the repair process.
